I percieve development is as on going process which needs many catalysts to foster it and deliver better results much sooner than it usually takes. So my understanding of development also ensures, change happens.
For such change to happen, I believe Social Action is always a better approach. My interests in it (social action) are always followed my actions. I took initiatives that would help people for better living. All the campaigns explained in this section illustrate the same. There is also another perception that drives me into social action. This perception is controlled by "tolerance" and "knowledge". I believe its the knowledge about injustice or wrong doing that makes me personally irked. This may be the case in all circumstances, but definetly at instances which affect society, I am more likely to act. Again after having such "knowledge" I analyse how people are responding. In some cases there are people who does not know about it and in most other cases they are just ignorent. I try to pool with the former kind of people and start acting. In other cases its "tolenrance". I wait until some problem gets noticed. I wait because I wanted others to take action. I wait until its being discussed and some one is planning to take action. In case if it happens, I would be very happy. But if it doesnt happen, then I would jump into action. Somehow in this case I may not look for pooling of people, discussing it and then taking action. Because I some how feel, if they were ready they would have taken action. And when there is no action it may mean that they are not ready to involve. So I just carry on with my work. And keep things open, so whenever people are interested they could join. Roll over the Social Action button to know about the campaigns I am involved with. |
